Stag &Thistle's vision is to create a space which celebrates Cabot's local flavors, using farmed and foraged foods, local ingredients, and high quality meats. The menu will offer seasonal dishes with special focus on wild game and nose to tail eating. Stag & Thistle aims to cultivate a warm, inviting atmosphere for gathering, dining, and connecting. While we search for the right space, Stag & Thistle is currently open for catering and pop-up events.
WILD GAME
Chef Shane grew up hunting in the woods of Ohio and fishing on Lake Erie. He is excited to blend the wild flavors of his childhood with the creative cooking style he has developed during his career as a chef

FOODS
To compliment the rustic flavors of game, the menu will feature seasonal wild foraged foods such as mushrooms, fiddleheads, ramps, as well as vegetables from our local farmers.
WHISKEY
Ruby is curating a wide selection of Scotch, Bourbon, and other whiskeys to compliment and expand the flavor experience of Stag & Thistle. In addition to a full bar, the restaurant will offer specialty tasting flights for your enjoyment.
